This is what I look like working in my research lab. Working with plants is all fun and games until you have an allergic reaction. Wearing this respirator, though, got me thinking – cloth masks, in general, are not very effective when trying to protect yourself against COVID. Surgical masks, when fitted correctly (knotted and tucked) do a great job with protecting you against COVID. N95 (or KN95) masks provide the most protection against contracting it.

Now, if you wanna look REALLY cool, be like me and wear a respirator for maximum protection!
