Jonesboro and Bono, you have a choice in November

Accessibility Text: A graphic that compares two candidates for state senate in Arkansas, Chenoa Summers and Dan Sullivan. Chenoa’s column says: “Supports reproductive rights, would support or sponsor a bill to codify these rights into law, supports MLK Jr. Day being its own holiday, supports the RAISE Act, which would have given teachers an immediate $4k raise and bumped up the starting salary to $42k, supports expanding Medicaid for everyone, and would support or sponsor a bill to define sexual orientation and gender identity as protected under law.” Dan’s column says: “sponsored the trigger ban on abortion in Arkansas (Act 180), voted against making MLK Jr. Day a holiday (Act 561), voted against teacher raises and for tax cuts that primarily benefit the richest Arkansans (Act 1), sponsored a bill that repealed the law for discounts on insulin (Act 9), and voted for the bill restricting the ability for minors to pursue gender-affirming healthcare (Act 626).” At the bottom, it reads: Register to vote by Oct. 10, Early vote Oct. 24-Nov. 7 at the Election Annex, General Election Day is Nov. 8″
