In case you didn’t know, I’m a scientist. I’m a physicist, environmental scientist, and now I consider myself a plant ecologist. I gave a talk over my current research project at Arkansas State University’s Create@state Research Symposium. We need folks from all different backgrounds and walks of life in the state legislature. As long as you meet the requirements to run, you’re qualified regardless of your background. Everyone deserves to be represented. If you don’t feel like you are, take that leap and run yourself.
