All Are Accepted, None Are Rejected

Over the course of Black History Month, I want to highlight Black voices that have been influential in my life – whether artist, author, musician, academic, etc. Today, I wanted to kick it off with one of my all-time favorite artists, musicians, and comedians: David Liebe Hart.

I first learned of David Liebe Hart through watching Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! where he performed songs with his puppets. I later learned about his YouTube series “I Love David,” discovered more of his music on Spotify, and instantly became hooked. He’s extremely talented in crafting melodies that become earworms. His music often revolves around his experiences growing up, his love of trains, and aliens (look up New Technology by him, you will not be disappointed). He has quickly become an influence on my own music and writing.

I’ll leave you with my favorite quote from I Love David:

All are accepted, none are rejected.
